Job description

  • Mix Stereo, 5.1, 7.1 and Atmos 7.1.4 (in future) content in various languages for broadcast and theatricals as per client specs and requirements on Protools HD.
  • Dub/insert corrections, track lay and edit sfx as and when the need arises, in the interest of the project.
  • Communicate with Project manager, Dubbing Engineers, Directors and HOD and provide updates on project status and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Oversee work of other engineers, teach and train them in best practices and ensure uniform quality is delivered.
  • Communicate with clients as and when required.
  • Any task related to the studio, equipment, etc. to ensure smooth running.

Requirement:

  • 3-4 years experience in language dubbing, sfx, Foley and 6-8 years experience in mixing 5.1 content with MNE and open tracks for broadcast and theatrical content on PROTOOLS 10 and above.
  • Sound knowledge of microphone placement, technical terms of mixing, of latest standards and terminology such as BS1770, R128, Lkfs, LT RT, HDX, DSP, etc. Dolby Atmos knowledge and experience will be added bonus. However training may be provided.
  • Working knowledge of signal flows, communication protocols and ability to troubleshoot.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and Hindi and ability to understand client requirements and explain to them if need arises.

Requirement:

  • 5+ years Dubbing experience in languages and ADR for theatrical and broadcast content on PROTOOLS 10 and above.

  • Identify appropriate script writers and communicate with them to ensure timely delivery of quality scripts.
  • Communicate with Project manager, Language QC and provide updates on project status and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Oversee work of other dubbing directors, teach and train them in best practices and ensure uniform quality is delivered.
  • Dub corrections as per client or QC directives, create and maintain glossary of terms for uniformity across the project.
  • Any task related to the project to ensure smooth running.

Requirement:

  • 5+ years experience in dubbing direction, casting, scheduling and budgeting for theatrical and broadcast. Theater or acting background preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi. Knowledge of additional languages preferred.
  • Knowledge of dubbing industry, artists, approved voices, budgets, writers, current trends and ability to deliver with quality in time bound manner. Knowledge of Audio Description preferred.

Project Manager / Line Producer

Job description

  • Communicate with Engineers. Dubbing Directors, QC, Writers, Vendors, etc. and keep track of all project requirements, deliveries, timelines, etc.
  • Communicate with clients and HOD and keep them updated on deliveries.
  • Schedule voice artists and ensure optimal studio time utilization in discussion with Senior Engineers, Dubbing Directors and HOD.
  • Discuss artist and talent costs with HOD and Dubbing Directors to ensure project remains within budget.
  • Any task related to the project to ensure smooth running.

Requirement:

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi. Knowledge of additional languages preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in media industry in managing projects, shoots, dubs, etc. involving artists, actors and clients.
  • Experience in studio workflows, scheduling and ability to give creative inputs to the project preferred.
  • Team player and managerial abilities to get best output from team in a positive and healthy environment.
